Pretty good actually! Particularly liked

"But to capture the net economic surplus of a populace

Is simply to conquer them—a principle fully understood

From emperors of Akkad to earls of Northumberland,

Yet has the new man blinded himself."

True those that worship power rule over all

They've killed with loot and plunder since the Fall

Yet we that live to wive and thrive and see

Our spawn grow tall and brave and know that we

Know something kings and rulers never know:

That money, power and glitter cannot grow

The world in wisdom, honor, and respect.

If humans social creatures be, expect

That there will ever be the hero bold

That dares to journey in the underworld

And demons there confront that he may come

Back to the world above with wisdom's sum.

He comes to tell us how it ever is

That power and money have no fizz.
